Christina Aguilera - Five Fun Facts


  1. In 1992, Christina Aguilera belted out the national anthem for the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team and the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. The 11-year-old was the youngest person to perform the national anthem at a major sporting event at the time.
  2. When Christina Aguilera was a member of The New Mickey Mouse Club in the mid-'90s, the other members nicknamed her "Diva."
  3. Christina Aguilera has five tattoos: "Xtina" on the back of her neck; one above her left hip; one on her left wrist; "Te Amo Siempre" on her left elbow and a Hebrew psalm lyric meaning "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" on her lower back.
  4. By 2004, Christina Aguilera had 11 piercings removed with the exception of the one in her right nipple. She said she'd gotten the them as a release during bad times.
  5. A satin thong that Christina Aguilera wore on the cover of Maxim magazine was purchased on eBay for $1,542.69.
